About our company

Prairie Songbird Design Co is a tribute to all things creative.

Numerous years ago, I started sewing quilts for all of the new babies in my life, and more recently, I sew dresses & accessories for my two daughters and four nieces. I enjoy all things creative - sewing, knitting, crocheting, spinning yarn, digital design and a whole lot more.

I was recently laid off from my "day job" as a geologist, and decided it was time to jump into something I loved, could do from home, and brought me great joy. So, Prairie Songbird was created.

I make all of the products by hand, in my home sewing room in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and I love customizing and designing, so whatever you envision, let me know! Or give me an idea and I'll make you something gorgeous!
